World Breastfeeding Day, which is celebrated every August 1, is an important moment to remind us all about the importance of breast milk for the growth and development of babies. This year, let us together celebrate World Breastfeeding Day 2024 by appreciating every mother who has struggled to provide breast milk to her baby. Breast milk is an amazing gift, full of nutrients that cannot be replaced by formula or other foods.

The benefits of breast milk are not only limited to the physical health of the baby, but also provide emotional warmth and inner bonding between mother and child. Breast milk contains substances that can boost the baby's immune system, help brain growth, and protect against various diseases. Research shows that babies who are exclusively breastfed for the first six months of life tend to be healthier and have higher intelligence levels.

However, breastfeeding is not an easy task. It requires full support from family, the environment, and medical personnel. Every mother needs encouragement and support in order to fulfill her role well. Therefore, on this World Breastfeeding Day, let us commit to creating a supportive environment for breastfeeding mothers. Support can be in the form of providing adequate leave time for working mothers, providing lactation rooms in public places and workplaces, and providing proper education on the importance of breastfeeding.
