The Plenary Meeting EPSS of Banten Province in 2024

The Plenary Meeting of the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) of Banten Province in 2024 organized by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Banten Province became an important momentum in an effort to strengthen synergy between government agencies in providing quality statistical data. The event took place over two days, from August 13 to 14, 2024, at the Aston Serang Hotel, and was attended by representatives from all District/City BPS and the Office of Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Signage (Kominfo SP) in Banten Province.

In this forum, participants from various agencies discussed various challenges and achievements in the implementation of sectoral statistics in each region. They exchanged experiences and strategies to improve the quality and accuracy of the data collected and ensure that the data can be used effectively for planning and decision-making.

In addition, the plenary meeting also served as a platform to strengthen mutual commitment in supporting the realization of a reliable, effective, and efficient National Statistics System. The participants agreed to increase collaboration between agencies in collecting, processing, and disseminating statistical data. They realized the importance of accurate and up-to-date data as the basis for development planning in various sectors, including economic, social, and infrastructure.
