BPS Collaboration with Cilegon Municipality Secretary & Diskominfo

In a meeting between the Head of BPS Cilegon Municipality, Dadan Sudarmadi, and the Secretary of Cilegon City, H. Maman Mauludin, SH, MSi on Friday, August 30, 2024, the main objective was to collaborate in the declaration of the Desa CANTIK (Village Love Statistics) Program. This program aims to increase the awareness and ability of village communities in understanding and using statistical data for village planning and development. The selection of Kotabumi Village, Purwakarta Sub-district, as a coaching location is expected to be a pilot for the development of the program in other areas.

Furthermore, the meeting between the Head of BPS and the Head of the Cilegon Municipality Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Signage Office, Agus Zulkarnain, S.STP, M.Si, at the Kominfo Office aimed to strengthen cooperation in the field of sectoral statistics. These objectives include capacity building in data and information management, improving the accuracy and quality of sectoral data, and better coordination between agencies to support data-driven development planning in Cilegon Municipality
