SKSPPI Training in 2025

BPS Cilegon Municipality organized SKSPPI training in 2025 which was attended by organic employees and partners of BPS Cilegon Municipality. The Special Survey for the Study of Inventory Changes (SKSPPI) is an annual survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to obtain an overview of the quantity and value of inventories at the beginning and end of the year. The main objective of this survey is to identify the pattern and structure of inventories by commodity type and business classification, as well as to obtain information on the ratio of inventories to production value. The data generated from this survey is very important for investment analysis and the calculation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

The SKSPPI covers various business sectors in all provinces in Indonesia. Respondents of this survey consist of private companies with various business categories, such as industry, trade, and others. The survey asked about inventory position, inventory pattern and structure, and inventory-to-production ratio. Data were collected from 60 respondents in Cilegon Municipality, which were then used as components in the calculation of GDP and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).
