Consumer economic condition in Quarter IV-2017 was better than the previous quarter (ITK = 108,57)

Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Banten in Quarter IV-2017 was 108.57, meaning that the consumer's economic condition increased from the previous quarter. However, the level of consumer confidence or optimism decreased compared to Quarter III-2017 (ITK of 109.93).
The improving economic conditions of consumers in the fourth quarter of 2017 was driven by improvements in all forming variables, namely rising household incomes, low inflationary influence on consumption levels and increased consumption of food, finished food in restaurants / restaurants and non-food.
