Abstract

In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Cilegon City will be 2.21 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.12.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.71 percent; clothing and footwear group at 5.98 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.23 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.29 percent; health group at 0.71 percent; transportation group at 0.78 percent; information, communication and financial services group at -0.01 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.62 percent; education group by 1.75 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 4.51 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 8.50 percent.
The deflation rate for Cilegon City month to month (m-to-m) in September 2024 is 0.24 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Cilegon City in September 2024 is 0.95 percent.
