Abstract

The economy of Cilegon Municipality in 2024, calculated based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR137,989.30 billion and GRDP per capita reached IDR302.86 million.
The economy of Cilegon Municipality in 2024 grew by 4.84 percent, higher than in 2023 which grew by 4.82 percent. In terms of production, the business sector with the highest growth was achieved by the Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security Business Sector at 14.16 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Consumption Expenditure component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (LNPRT) experienced the highest growth of 25.22 percent.
The economy of Cilegon Municipality in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 grew by 6.86 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Primary Business Sector experienced the highest growth of 12.65 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, Government Final Consumption Expenditure experienced the highest growth of 4.71 percent.
The economy of Cilegon Municipality in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter experienced growth of 1.94 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Secondary Business Sector at 3.13 percent. In terms of expenditure, Government Final Consumption Expenditure experienced the highest growth of 13.44 percent.
