Abstract

In May 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Cilegon City of 1.04 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.99.
Year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: personal care and other services group by 12.10 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.83 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.69 percent; education group by 1.57 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.11 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.85 percent; transportation group by 0.48 percent; and household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance group by 0.11 percent.
The inflation rate of Cilegon City year to date (y-to-d) in May 2025 is 0.74 percent and the deflation rate of Cilegon City month to month (m-to-m) in May 2025 is 0.52 percent
