Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey Officer Training 2024

The Quarterly IMK Survey is conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to measure the performance of the manufacturing industry sector. The data collected in this survey is used to compile indicators that reflect the development of economic activity in the sector on a quarterly basis (3 monthly).

Some aspects that are usually covered in the IMK survey are the amount of goods produced, the value of sales, the use of raw materials, and the amount of labor used.

The results of the IMK survey are used to provide an overview of economic dynamics in the manufacturing sector, which can be an important indicator for policy makers, businesses, and investors to understand short-term economic trends. In addition, the data from IMK activities are also used as supporting data in the calculation of GRDP.
