Training of Cilegon City Food Crop Statistics Survey Officers in 2024

BPS Cilegon Municipality organized the 2024 Food Crop Statistics Survey Training. This activity was held to improve the quality of KSA (Area Sample Framework) and ubinan data in Cilegon Municipality.

In addition to class, the training was continued with the practice of ubinan. The practice of ubinan starts with plot sampling up to weighing the results of ubinan. Rice and secondary crops are important commodities in supporting Food Security.

BPS' role in supporting government policy is to provide quality data on rice and secondary crop production.

Accuracy of rice and secondary crop production data is an important instrument in planning and supporting government policies in food self-sufficiency efforts.
