Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) February 2019 amounting to 100.64 or up 0.36 percent

Abstract

February Banten NTP of 2019 amounted to 100.64, up 0.36 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the rate of increase in the Farmer Received Price Index (It) faster than the rate of increase in the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib).
In February 2019 there was a deflation of rural areas in Banten Province by 0.34 percent which occurred in the food expenditure group, while for other groups inflation occurred.
Banten Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) in February 2019 amounted to 106.25 or fell 0.10 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
The average grain price at the farm level in February compared to January for Dry Grain (GKG) decreased by 1.76 percent, Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) fell by 8.93 percent and for Grain outside quality did not increase and decrease.
Average grain price in February 2019 at the Farmer level for Rp. 5,628, GKP Rp. 5,100, - per kg, - and low quality Rp. 4,800, - per kg.
The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 4,000 - per kg for the quality of GKP with ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level of Rp. 6,000 per kg for the quality of MPD with varieties of Ciherang and IR-64.
The nominal wage of farm workers in February 2019 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in January 2019 has increased by 0.45 percent or up from Rp. 62,730, - per day to Rp. 63,014, - per day. In real terms *) there was also an increase of 0.80 percent, up from Rp. 44,345, - per day to Rp. 44,698, - per day.
