Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in May 2019 amounted to 99.93 or decreased by 0.01 percent

Abstract

Banten NTP in May 2019 amounted to 99.93 or down 0.01 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP due to the rate of increase in the Farmers Received Price Index (It) is still slower than the rate of increase in the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib).

In May 2019 there was rural inflation in Banten Province of 0.64 percent which occurred in expenditure groups, namely clothing, food, housing, processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco, health, transportation and communication as well as recreational education, and sports.

Banten Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) in May 2019 amounted to 105.76, up 0.36 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.

The average grain price at the farm level in May compared to April for Dry Grain (GKG) decreased by 2.37 percent, Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) fell by 1.96 percent, and low quality fell by 8.16 percent.

Average grain price in May 2019 at the Farmer level for Rp. 4,467, GKP Rp. 3,900, - per kg, - and low quality Rp. 3,600, - per kg.

The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 3,500 per kg for low quality with Ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level of Rp 5,000 per kg for GKG quality with the Ciherang variety.

The nominal wage of farm workers in May 2019 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in April 2019 has increased by 0.67 percent or up from Rp. 63,188, - per day to Rp. 63,611, - per day. In real terms *) it also increased by 0.03 percent, which rose from Rp. 44,798, - per day to Rp. 44,810, - per day.
