Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) December 2019 of 103.10 or an increase of 0.54 percent

Abstract

Banten NTP in December 2019 was 103.10, up 0.54 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in FTT is due to an increase in the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which is higher than the increase in Farmer Paid Price Index (IB)
In December 2019 there was rural inflation in Banten Province of 0.49 percent which occurred in all expenditure groups namely foodstuffs, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco, housing, clothing, health and education, recreation and sports while transportation and communication groups experienced deflation.
Banten Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) in December 2019 amounted to 109.32, up 0.86 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
The average grain price at the farm level in December compared to the situation in November for Grain Dry Grain (GKG) increased 1.61 percent, Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) increased by 3.99 percent and low quality Grain increased by 0.90 percent.
The average grain price in December 2019 at the Farmer level for the quality of MPD Rp. 5,241, GKP Rp. 5070, - per kg and low quality Rp. 4,500. -
The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 4,200 per kg for GKP quality with Ciherang variety and the highest price at the farm level is Rp 5,800 per kg for GKG quality with Ciherang variety
The nominal wage of farm laborers in December 2019 increased compared to November 2019 of Rp. 64,327, - per day, but in real terms *) decreased by 0.37 percent, down from Rp. 44,753 per day to Rp. 44,586 per day.
