Abstract

In August 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Cilegon Municipality will be 2.69 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.37.
Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by rising prices all expenditure group indexes, namely: food, beverage and tobacco by 2.99 percent; clothing and footwear group was 6.07 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups amounting to 0.23 percent; groups of supplies, equipment and routine home maintenance stairs by 1.11 percent; health group at 0.76 percent; group transportation by 1.71 percent; information, communication and services group finance by 0.09 percent; recreation, sports and cultural groups of 1.62 percent; education group by 1.75 percent; provision group food and beverage/restaurants at 4.73 percent; and treatment group personal and other services amounted to 7.89 percent.
Cilegon Municipality's deflation rate month to month (m-to-m) in August 2024 of 0.04 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Cilegon City month August 2024 is 1.19 percent.
