The Human Development Index (HDI) of Cilegon City in 2024 reaches 78.83, an increase of 0.59 points or 0.75 percent compared to year previously it was 78.24.

HDI growth in 2024 has accelerated from the previous year. Entire the dimensions that form HDI have increased, especially decent living standards and knowledge.
The life expectancy of babies born in 2024 is 75.03 years, increased by 0.22 years compared to those born in previously.
In the knowledge dimension, the expected length of schooling (HLS) for the population is 7 years old in 2024 an increase of 0.02 years compared to the previous year, from 13.21 years to 13.23 years. Meanwhile, the average length of school (RLS) The population aged 25 years and over increased by 0.01 years, from 10.38 years to 10.39 years in 2024.
Dimensions of decent living standards measured based on average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) in 2024 will increase by 631 thousand rupiah or 4.62 percent compared to the previous year.
