Abstract

Banten NTP December 2018 amounted to 100.52, down 0.27 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The decline in NTP due to the rate of increase in the Farmers Received Price Index (It) is still smaller than the rate of increase in the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib).
In December 2018 there was rural inflation in Banten Province of 0.52 percent which occurred in almost all expenditure groups except the Education, Recreation and Sports group.
Banten's Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) in December 2018 was 107.38, up 0.02 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
The average grain price at the farm level in December compared to November for Milled Dry Rice (MPD) increased by 5.03 percent, Harvest Dry Rice (GKP) increased by 2.23 percent and for Grain outside quality rose by 0.59 percent.
The average price of grain in December 2018 at the Farmer level for quality MPD of Rp. 5,567, GKP Rp. 5.360, - per kg, - and low quality Rp. 4.225- per kg.
The lowest grain price at the farm level is Rp. 4,100, - per kg for low quality with ciherang varieties and the highest price at the farm level is Rp. 6,100 per kg for GKG quality with the Ciherang variety.
The nominal wage of farm laborers in December 2018 compared to the wages of agricultural laborers in November 2018 has increased by 0.13 percent or up from Rp. 60,801, - per day to Rp. 60,885, - per day. In real terms *) it has decreased by 0.38 percent, down from Rp. 43,478, - per day to Rp. 43,313, - per day.
